Last week the Pine City/Rush City boys hockey team, with Jake Kleinsasser, Conner Werner, Coltin Malchow, Blake Cook and Matt Haglund from Rush City, lost 9-1 to Mora/Hinckley-Finlayson before returning home and losing 6-3 to Becker/Big Lake Eagles on Thursday.
The boys then fell 8-1 Saturday to the visiting North Shore (Cook County/Silver Bay/Two Harbors) team. Kleinsasser had a goal in the game against the Eagles, while Malchow scored the only Dragon goal in the North Shore game.
With a 0-4 overall record, the Dragons will host the Proctor Rails at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, before traveling to Chisago Lakes Arena in Lindstrom to face the North Branch Vikings at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15.
