The employees of CU Recover and Loan Service Center, Inc. in Wyoming believe it is important to give back to their community, so they established a Jeans for a Cause event. For the entire month of December, 63 employees and the owners of CU Recovery could be found happily strutting around the office in their jeans, knowing they generated $1,025 for the programs of Family Pathways.
Participating employees donated $5 apiece per day to wear jeans to work.
Mari Gordan, the HR Manager for CU Recovery, said, “We know the many ways Family Pathways works year round to provide for local families in need, so this event is the perfect opportunity to show our support during the holiday season.”
Family Pathways is a non-profit organization serving east central Minnesota and west central Wisconsin. Programing includes: basic life services (food shelves), youth services and senior services. They also operate ten thrift stores throughout the area to generate funding for their programs.
