Matthew Heath, of Rush City, died Dec. 27, 2012, as a result of an auto accident in Rush City at the age of 21 years.
Matthew Jacob Heath was born Feb. 8, 1991 in Cambridge, Minn. He was raised in Rush City where he attended Rush City Schools. Matt earned his Eagle Scout badge at the age of 17 and graduated in June, 2009 at the age of 18.
He enjoyed riding his bike, Xbox, working on cars, building things and hanging out with his many friends. He had a laid back personality and was always smiling. He was good at letting his dog, Fred, in the house and spoiling him.
He took pride in his work and for good reason. He was getting his life on track and had planned to return to school to take up welding.
He was taken from us before we were ready to let him go! He still had a lot of smiles to share and memories to make. Until we see you again …
Matthew is survived by his mother and father, JoEllen and Mark Heath, both of Rush City; sister Barb Heath (Cam Hartman), of Minneapolis; grandmother Janice Lind, of Rush City; aunts and uncles: Joanne Bray, of Indianapolis; Steve Lind and his wife Tracy, of Sandstone; Leah Ceseno and her husband Geno, of San Diego, Calif.; and Mike Lind of Carlton; many cousins and close friends.
