Viking hockey hopes to rebound this week

North Branch lost to both visiting Legacy Christian (5-2) and host Minneapolis area (9-2) in boys hockey action last week. The team is fifth in the Two Rivers Conference with a 2-7 record and 3-18 overall.

Next up, the boys will face off against the 20-4 Webster/Siren/Frederic/Luck/Grantsburg (WSFLG) Blizzard at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 at Grantsburg Ice Arena. Then it’s off to Faribault Ice Arena where the Vikings will take on the 8-11 Falcons at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8.
