“It was nice to see a couple guys step up their wrestling at this tournament,” said coach Josh Moulton. “Dominic Montgomery (170, sophomore) wrestled the same kid he lost to by pin in the previous week, and lost by points in the semis. He brought home third place in the GRC as he pinned his way through wrestlebacks. Also taking third was Tyler Sitz (120, junior). We had a very tough day and need to get on track in a hurry for section individuals.”

Finishing the season with a 4-2 Great River Conference record and 4-4 overall record, the Rush City/Braham wrestling team is set to compete in the Section 7AA Team Championship preliminaries and quarterfinals Tuesday, Feb. 12. The semifinals and finals will take place at Pine City High School beginning at 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15.
