Northwoods Bank of Minnesota is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who robbed its Rush City bank last week.

The suspect, described as a white male between 5 feet 7  inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 220 pounds, entered Northwoods Bank, 1275 W. 4th St., at 12:48 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19 and advised the teller that he had a gun and demanded cash.

The suspect then handed the teller a plastic grocery bag and fled with an undisclosed amount of money in a vehicle described as a black, two-door passenger compact, authorities said. The bank is located a few storefronts west of Rush City Foods.
