RC Girls Basketball Wins Section Playoff vs. Mora

The No. 4 section seeded Rush City girls basketball team hosted and defeated the No. 5 section seed Mora Mustangs 63-60 in the first round of Section 7AA Championship playoffs Wednesday, Feb. 27. The Rush City girls basketball team ended its regular season tied for fourth with East Central in the Great River Conference and now has a 9-7 conference and 13-10 overall record. The Tigers will travel to University of Minnesota Duluth to face the No. 1 section seed and No. 3 state ranked Braham Bombers (27-0 record) in the Section 7AA quarterfinal at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, March 2.
