Walleye dinner, craft and bake sale 

The public is invited to attend Salem’s walleye dinner, craft and bake sale 4:30 to 7 p.m. April 19. The menu will include walleye, homemade meatballs, parsley buttered potatoes, vegetables, coleslaw, relishes, homemade rolls, dessert, coffee and milk. Cost: adults, $11; children 6-12, $5; children 5 and under eat free. Salem Lutheran Church of Dalbo is located one half-mile east of Highway 47 on County Road 3. NB Lioness craft/bake sale April 20

The North Branch Lioness Club is having its first craft/bake sale April 20 at Trinity Lutheran Church in North Branch, 9 to 3 p.m. Concessions will be available. Some funds from the craft sale will be going towards two $250 scholarships for North Branch Area High School senior students.

Hymn sing 

The North Branch Community Choir and Orchestra with Gary Nyquist and Hymn Sings America invite the community to a hymn sing April 21, 4 to 5:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in North Branch. All are invited to participate.

MEC spring celebration

5K to raise money for mission trips

The Living Branch Lutheran Church Group is hosting its first 5K4 mission May 25, 9 a.m. at Central Park. This event is a fun run/walk to raise funds to send Living Branch youth on mission trips. Show your support by participating or making a donation. Official entry forms and further information can be found at livingbranchchurch.org/5k4missions.html. The cost is $25 until May 1; after that date the cost to participate increases to $30.
