Sheriff’s office partners with Dicky’s to support Project Lifesaver

Members of the Chisago County Sheriff’s Office were on-hand for a fundraising event for Project Lifesaver, an initiative that implements technology to help find missing people, at Dicky’s Barbecue Pit in North Branch April 9.

Rick Waytashek, the owner of the North Branch Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, donated 10 percent of sales and money from a silent auction to Project Lifesaver. Once the three-hour fundraiser was complete, $1,400 was raised for the program.
