Both MN U.S. senators took an oath to uphold and defend the U.S. Constitution. Both Senators have violated their oaths of office and have infringed upon the rights of not only the citizens of Minnesota but all of the United States citizens! How you ask, they both voted to admit the United States into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty (Mar. 23, 2013). This would violate the Constitution by allowing the U.N. to require a “registry” of guns and gun owners. Something that Congress has failed, thank goodness, to do on it’s own. So, now they try to violate the Constitution through another form of control.
Both of these Senators have also voted to violate the 2nd Amendment by applying restrictions to legal gun owners. The senators need to know that words mean something and that written words mean even more. They have ignored the words “shall not be infringed” written for the 2nd Amendment.
They took this oath, meaning that they swore to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States. Not just the parts they agree with, but, all of this great document! All of our elected representatives have to be held accountable. When a person violates their oath they lose all of their creditability. I find their actions deplorable and will vote to get them out of office. You should do the same, unless you are a person that votes them in to keep the “benefits” they gave to you from other taxpayers money. Then, shame on you also!
