The family of Danielle Jelinek is asking anglers, especially in Chisago County — the area from which Jelinek went missing — to be extra alert when fishing.
The family said there is a chance Jelinek was put in a local body of water, and is asking anglers to keep an eye out for anything unusual, especially near the edges of lakes, rivers and streams.
If anglers find anything suspicious, they are asked to call the Chisago County Sheriff’s Office at 651-257-4100. They are also asked to not move any suspicious items; stay in the location until deputies arrive.
The Chisago County Sheriff’s Office conducted searches of both Bone and Moody Lake, but didn’t find a trace of Jelinek.
Another search in Carlos Avery State Park is being organized.
Information about the time and location of that search will be posted on the Danielle Jelinik Search Team Facebook page when it becomes available.
