The North Branch Public Works department has performed one week of leaf pickup and has another series scheduled for the following dates, weather permitting:
•Section 1 on May 6 and May 13
•Section 2 on May 7 and May 14
•Section 3 on May 8 and May 15
•Section 4 on May 9 and May 16
•Section 5 on May 10 and May 17
Leaves to be picked up must be on the boulevard in a row across the front of the resident’s property by 7 a.m. on the day of pick-up in their section. Bagged leaves will not be picked up. The vacuum’s reach is approximately five feet from the edge of the street.
Leaves that cannot be reached with the vacuum hose will be left. No sticks, brush, tree trimmings or other material will be picked up. All piles with materials other than leaves, pine needles or grass clippings will not be picked up.
Section 1: West of I-35
Section 2: Between I-35 and County Road 30, north of Highway 95
Section 3: East of County Road 30, north of Highway 95
Section 4: Between I-35 and County Road 30, south of Highway 95
Section 5: East of County Road 30, south of Highway 95
