Staff and providers at the new, expanded Fairview clinic, 5366 386th St., in North Branch invite the public to join them at an open house celebration from 9 a.m. to noon May 18.

“Spring is finally here, and we’ve chosen new growth as the theme of our celebration,” Clinic Supervisor Kris Clementson, RN, said.

Not only will the May 18 open house have tours, refreshments and door prizes, but the first 200 families will receive a complimentary tree seedling from Fairview. Free packets of carrot seeds will be offered while supplies last.

Kids who attend will have the chance to explore the “Veggy-Table,” plant a green bean seed to take home and watch grow, and to meet Curious George as part of the clinic’s Reach Out and Read program.

But the star of the event is the new clinic itself.

“Our new facility doubles the size of the previous North Branch clinic,” Clinic Administrator Craig Ward said. “And it includes additional exam rooms, large procedure rooms and additional services located onsite which will allow enhanced continuity of care.”

“We’re very excited to continue our focus on providing excellent patient care in this new clinic space and to strengthen our commitment to the community,” added longtime clinic physician Tom Leaf, MD.

“The additional exam rooms and services will allow us to provide more streamlined care in a beautiful space,” Paula Rehder, MD., said. “Plus, the new location is less than 15 minutes from Fairview Lakes Medical Center, where our team admits patients and delivers babies
