State Representative Bob Barrett, R-Lindstrom, was honored to visit with Eleanor Anderson, a student at North Branch High School who participated in the Minnesota House of Representatives High School Page Program at the beginning of May.

“It’s always great to have an area student express an interest in state government and is willing to learn more about the political process firsthand,” Barrett said.

For over thirty years the High School Page Program has been dedicated to providing participants with hands-on access to state government in action. Throughout the course of their week in Saint Paul, participants are exposed to a wide variety of experiences, including assisting members during legislative session and participating in a mock committee hearing.
