Registration is open for the 25th annual Lindstrom Loppet Karl Oskar Days 5K Walk/Run. Hosted by Fairview Lakes Medical Center, the event is set for 8 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at Lakes Free Church in Lindstrom.
Entrants can pick up registration forms at the Fairview Clinic in Chisago City, Wally Carlson and Sons BP in Lindstrom or at the information desk at Fairview Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming. Another option is registering and paying entry fees at lindstromloppet.zapevent.com.
This year advance registration fees are $12 for children age 12 and under and $20 for those over 12. Day-of-event registration is $15 and $25, respectively, for the same age groups. A maximum fee of $75 per household will apply. (All individuals registering must reside in the same household.) In addition, this year’s entrants will receive a special 25th anniversary Loppet T-shirt.
To qualify for advance registration, registration forms and fees must be completed online, mailed by July 8 or dropped off at the above-mentioned locations no later than noon Thursday, July 11.
Same-day registration will be accepted from 7-7:45 a.m. on race day. Those who register after 7:45 a.m. July 13 cannot be guaranteed a number or a computerized time. The race begins and ends at Lakes Free Church, 29620 Olinda Trail, Lindstrom.
Participants of all ages are invited to walk or run in the event. Medals are awarded to males and females in 10 age categories, ranging from 10 and under to age 70 and over, as well as the top male and female runners overall.
