Local kids involved in the Dinosaurs! class through Project SEEK celebrated T-Rex Day on June 12 by designing crowns full of Tyrannosaurus rex teeth and learning all about this King of the Cretaceous period.

The class, hosted by North Branch Middle School, also took a field trip to the Science Museum of Minnesota on June 20 to further study dinosaur fossils in the Dinosaur Gallery.

Project SEEK, a summer enrichment experience, offers challenging, innovative, creative, exciting classes in a number of interdisciplinary areas to high potential, gifted and talented students. Students completing grades 1-7 by June of each year are recommended by their classroom teachers to participate in the program. North Branch and Rush City schools are members of this Gifted Network.
