It all passed in a ‘Daze’ (slideshow)

Riding lawn mowers are more than acceptable forms of transportation for a parade. Win, lose or draw, the kids, firefighters and the spectators enjoy this contest. Playing softball on the newly polished west side ball fields are the members of “That Team,” who hail from “all over,” including Stacy. Stacy-Lent fFirefighter Nick Peltier helps Jillian Horsfall suit up for the big water fight on Stacy Trail. Grand marshals Phyllis and Don Mudrick, of Stacy. Whether riding aloft a fire truck, on a trailer or sitting in the back of a pickup truck, Stacy-Lent kids were having an greatawesome time in the parade. Carolyn Cagle, Stacy resident and business owner, can’t contain her joy over another successful Stacy Daze celebration.

Stacy Daze came and went over the weekend of Aug. 3, bringing out the Stacy-Lent community to enjoy under sunny skies a classic car show, softball tournaments, music, a water fight, a 5K fun run, disc golf, the grand parade and fireworks. All of these events were sponsored and organized by the Stacy-Lent Fire Department, local Stacy and Lent Township businesses, the Stacy Lions and Lioness Clubs, and the city and township.
