Local business owner honored at Servpro convention

Teri Recht, owner of Servpro of North Washington, Chisago and Pine counties, was honored with the President’s Silver award for outstanding revenue performance during the company’s 44th annual convention June 17-21 in Anaheim, Calif.

In addition to providing a networking and educational forum for the more than 1,600 franchise owners in the Servpro Franchise System, the convention provides a platform to recognize and reward franchisees for outstanding success in their businesses.

“I’m proud to have earned this award this year,” Recht said. “Everyone at Servpro of North Washington, Chisago and Pine counties is dedicated to being the leader in our industry in the Harris area. This award is recognition that our community knows they can depend on us to help them recover from a storm, fire or other disaster.”

Servpro, an industry leader in disaster cleanup, restoration and remediation services, welcomed a record number of franchisees to its annual event. The convention also offered more than 60 workshop sessions covering more than 30 different topics — the most extensive program ever offered at a Servpro convention. The keynote speaker was former NBA player Walter Bond.

“Servpro Industries Inc. congratulates Teri and all of our award winners on their success,” said Sue Steen, chief executive officer of Servpro Industries. “We know our leadership position in the marketplace is a direct result of the dedication and professionalism of our franchisees and their staffs. Hopefully, this year’s annual convention provided all of our attendees with the latest intelligence about our company and our industry so they can continue to grow their businesses and support their customers with the best possible service.”
