Nolan continues ‘Make It In America’ jobs tour

Congressman to tour local businesses and manufacturers this week—

As part of his efforts to help generate jobs and promote local manufacturers, small businesses, and employers, Congressman Rick Nolan recently announced another leg to his “Make It In America” tour of Minnesota’s Eighth District.

“We have some of the most innovative and successful manufacturing and technology enterprises in America right here in central and northeastern Minnesota, providing literally thousands of good paying American jobs,” Nolan said.

He added, “Over the summer and fall, I am visiting with employers, employees, local government officials, and other stakeholders throughout our eighteen counties to learn how we can better support the companies who ‘make it in America.’ It is clear we need to reform our tax and trade policies to reward and encourage American manufacturers who generate jobs here – and put an end to policies that encourage companies to send jobs overseas and put Americans out of work.”

Nolan’s previous “Make It In America” visits have included E-Ride in Princeton, Cirrus Aircraft in Duluth, Larson Boats in Little Falls, and the University of Minnesota’s Soudan Underground Mine in Tower.
