Oscar Southbloom, an 18-year-old Harris resident, was involved in a crash Saturday around 10:22 a.m. that lead to the death of Clyde Jordan, 65, of Kellogg, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
According to the State Patrol report:
Southbloom was heading southbound in his 2003 Audi Quattro on Highway 61 in Wabasha County near milepost 57 when the vehicle rear-ended a tractor drive by Jordan. Road conditions were dry, and authorities did not find hazardous material in the roadway that might have been a contributing factor to the crash.
Southbloom sustained non-life-threatening injuries; Jordan was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is unknown if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
