The NBAHS senior and junior girls held their annual Powder Puff game Sept. 23 at Harder Park. The game of touch football has been a homecoming tradition for many years. Over 300 community members were in attendance to watch the seniors win this year’s event by a score of 7-0. In addition, the event raised over $200 from concession donations, which will be added to the “Tackle Cancer” drive total.

The Powder Puff game is sponsored by the Quarterback Club (football boosters). The club would like to thank the City of North Branch for the use of their park and lights. The club would also like to thank the Youth Tackle Football Association and the Traveling Baseball Association for providing equipment. Lastly, the club would like to thank the community for its support of the girls, and their coaches. You all helped to make this year’s Powder Puff event a great success.
