Ellwood C. Carlson
Ellwood C. Carlson, 88, of North Branch, died Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, at the Golden Living Center in Rush City.
Ellwood was born October 24, 1925, in North Branch to parents Albert and Theresia (Sederberg) Carlson. He attended country school through the eighth grade. Ellwood farmed and also worked many years at the Peterson Feed Mill in North Branch. He loved fishing as well as reading and watching wrestling on TV. Ellwood lived on the farm until January of this year when he entered the Golden Living Center in Rush City.
Ellwood is survived by several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Clifford, and sisters Vivienne Bergren, V. Adele Carlson and Joyce Thunstrom.
A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in North Branch with the Rev. Gary Guptill officiating.
