Michelle S. Barnier

Michelle S. Barnier, 36, of North Branch, died Dec. 28, 2013, at her residence.
Michelle was born Aug. 9, 1977, in Duluth to parents Michael and Sheryl (Osterloh) Barnier. She attended North Branch schools and worked as a waitress, bartender and in retail sales before her job at Forsyth Appraisal in Little Canada where she worked for fifteen years. She loved scrapbooking, four wheeling, camping, bonfires and tubing. She also loved working with animals.
Michelle is survived by her daughter, Courtney Johnson, of Cambridge; parents Mike and Sheri, of North Branch; brothers, Dan Barnier, of Rock Creek and Travis (Misty) Barnier, of Henderson, Nev.; her niece and nephew, Lexi and Austin; maternal grandmother, Carol Osterloh, of Amery; and paternal grandmother, Lillian Barnier, of Wyoming. Michelle would have been a first time grandmother in March to Aubrey Lynn Michelle Palmer. She is also survived by her best friend and fiance; of 15 years, Troy Prybilla, and his sons, Ryan and Cory, as well as the family dogs, Abby, Marlee and Baby Girl. She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Whitey Osterloh and Lester Barnier; brother-in-law, Philip Bernier, and her black lab, Star.
Memorial services were held at 1 p.m. Jan. 2, 2014, at Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch with the Rev. Cullen Tanner officiating. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday. A family interment will take place at a later date.
