Rush City’s Economic Development Authority is taking strides to award and become acquainted with local businesses in the area.

The goal of the EDA is to recognize contributions to the local economy and become more familiar with these businesses by taking tours. Starting with the industrial park, city officials made their first stop Monday, Jan. 27 at the largest employer in the area, Plastech Corporation.

Plastech has been in the custom injection molding business for 55 years and employs around 350 people.
