Play Inc’s next production, “How to Succeed at Business Without Really Trying,” is scheduled April 25, 26, and 27. However, to have a show there needs to be performers, stage crew, technical help and all other forms of volunteers.
Those interested in getting involved onstage or behind the scenes should visit the Cambridge Center for the Arts location on Second Avenue between Sidelines and American Janes 6:30-9 p.m. Feb. 18 or 9 a.m.-noon Feb. 22. Performers should come with a verse of any song prepared to sing. An accompaniment may be provided, but singers can choose to sing a cappella.

“How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying”centers on a young window-cleaner, J. Pierrepont Finch, who begins a meteoric rise from the mail room to Vice President of Advertising at the World-Wide Wicket Company. Finch’s unorthodox and morally questionable business practices jeopardize not only his career but also his romance with Secretary Rosemary Pilkington.
Play Inc needs to populate its 1960’s corporation with actors and actresses who can create larger-than-life characters who can sing and dance. Play Inc is looking for performers mostly in their 20s-50s, but there are a couple roles for performers who may be older than that.
