Eighth grade students from North Branch Area Middle School spent a second day at the University of Minnesota Fluid Power Challenge Jan. 14. Eli Davies, middle school Project Lead the Way teacher, went to the first day of the challenge with the students in December and worked with the students to create sample projects.

On the day of the challenge, the students were given a box of supplies and told to create a device to move an object using only fluid power. The students did well with the challenge and were very engaged throughout the day.
