RC girls fall to strong Aitkin squad

The Rush City girls basketball team hosted Aitkin in a conference matchup last week, but were unable to stop the visitors as they fell, 56-45. Nelson led with 10 points, followed by junior Haylie Gilbert with eight points. Junior Payton Ramberg put up six points while sophomore Lindsey Williams added four points. The Tigers (8-6) traveled to East Central on Tuesday and next host Isle at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14.
