The North Branch Beautification Association, along with the North Branch Area Community Education, will be hosting a spaghetti dinner fundraiser 5-7:30 p.m. March 18. The event is to raise money to display newly designed school banners along Grand Avenue. These banners were designed/drawn by one student from each school — Early Childhood Education, Sunrise Elementary, North Branch Area Middle School and North Branch Area High School. The banners will add a splash of color and “Viking” presence along “School Lane.”
Enjoy spaghetti and meatballs, salad/bread and an ice cream bar at the dinner. The Pleasant Valley Cloggers will perform at 6 and 7 p.m. There will be a DJ by Whiteout Entertainment, games for kids and face painting.
Tickets are available in advance at Empire Insurance Inc., North Branch County Market, the Early Childhood Education office, and North Branch Area Chamber of Commerce. Advance tickets are $6 for adults, $4 for students and free for kids 4 and under. Tickets will be available at the door for $1 more.
The North Branch Beautification Association was founded in 2012 and is an independent non-profit organization made up of members of the community who want to help make North Branch a more vibrant place to live and work.
