Sunrise River School carnival (slideshow)

North Branch Early Childhood student Karli Folstad, with a little help, tosses a rubber bowling ball toward a set of pins in the Sunrise River School gym. The activity was just one of many for students to try at the Sunrise River School carnival Friday. Volunteer Shelly Johnson shows Corey Bleecker how to make his own button while Addyson Ramaley watches.
Preschooler Aiden Peterson shows off his arm in the gym by throwing a fuzzy tennis ball onto a Velcro target. Liberty Brandvold was all about the bright pink hair. Third-grader Jennie Gonzales looks like she should be in a Dr. Seuss book with that hairdo.
