Splash! Rush City pool opens

The Rush City Aquatic Center officially opened for the 2014 season Sunday, June 8.

Kids and adults enjoy the pool’s 165-foot slide, diving pool, lap pool, zero entry play area, 26-foot drop slide and fully stocked concessions area. Activities include swimming lessons, open swimming daily and water aerobics. Also available are private rentals for birthday parties and other special events.

The pool is hosting its Big Splash event Sunday, July 13, with carnival games, dunk tank (dunk a teacher), Lucky Duck Race and more from noon to 4 p.m.; admission to swim is $2 per person from 12:30-6:30 p.m.

Open from 12:30-6:30 p.m. Sunday through Saturday, the pool is located at 305 South Eliot Ave. in the downtown area. Call 320-358-3074 for more information.
