Family and friends didn’t let a few storm clouds get in the way from packing the house and witnessing a big day for their graduates.

The Class of 2014 from North Branch Area High School received their diplomas and some words of inspiration from fellow classmates during the school’s 105th commencement Friday night, June 6, inside the high school gymnasium. Seniors Anthony Her and Jessica Petrik delivered the main speeches of the evening.

The American Legion and VFW provided the Color Guard in remembrance of the country’s military veterans and the freedoms enjoyed to this day. Performances by combined bands and choirs showcased a taste of the talent at North Branch Schools, as well.
