The newly crowned Midsummer ambassadors, Ashley Swanson, Grace Olund and Kayla Bulver, started their reign by participating in Midsummer activities.  On June 29, they attended the Pine City Ambassador coronation and met a lot of new friends. They traveled to Forest Lake and participated in the city’s annual 4th of July parade and had a wonderful time. On July 9, they went to Lindstrom in support of the Karl Oscar Days ambassadors and attended their coronation. After the coronation, they went to Lions Park and entertained the children that were there. The Karl Oscar Days parade in Lindstrom was July 12, and it started out rainy, but at parade time the sun came out and the parade was really fun. Isanti Rodeo Jubilee Day parade was on July 10. The ambassadors came dressed in cowboy wear and learned to lasso. They had a great evening and again met many more new friends. Isanti’s coronation was July 13 at Spectacular events; the ambassadors met more new friends and loved the coronation. On July 25  ambassadors, Ashley, Grace and Kayla will be traveling to Minneapolis for the Aquatennial Queen of the Lakes coronation. They will spend the day in Minneapolis taking in the beautiful sites. July 25 is also the Chisago County Relay for Life, and since North Branch’s 2014 ambassadors can’t attend, past royalty have been asked to be there on behalf of the program. There will be many more events to come and the ambassadors are truly looking forward to the year. The ambassadors would love to have more volunteer opportunities!  If your organization has a need for volunteers, contact Julie at 651-270-3950.
