Current Chisago County Sheriff Rick Duncan and North Branch Police Officer Ron Rollins were to top vote getters in yesterday’s primary election for the sheriff’s seat. Duncan garnered 2,056 votes, which equates to 52.01 percent. Rollins’s tally was 1,079, which was 27.27 percent of the vote. Challenger Mark Osland obtained 819, a total of 20.72 percent of the vote. Election Day is Nov. 4.
