All sorts of entertainment including old-time movies in the Log Barn Theater, live music, Model T rides, old-time crafts and plenty of sweet things to eat are on the menu at the 21st annual Almelund Apple Festival.
Set from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 21, the event is sponsored by the Friends of the Amador Heritage Center, which teaches children about history in a fun way. In addition to the festivities, explore three original log cabins, each with special displays.
Interested in volunteering for a couple of hours? Can you demonstrate an old-time craft or help in one of the reconstructed log buildings? Arts and crafts booths are still available. Contact Lin Strong at 651-269-3580 or [email protected] for more information.
