Dr. Katherine Leehy and Mr. Ryan Swanson were united in marriage on Saturday, June 6th, 2015 at four oclock in the afternoon at Terra Nue in Shafer, MN. The ceremony was officiated by Reverend Andrew Luchsinger. Music for the ceremony was provided by Jeff Rice.
The bride is the daughter of Lori and Keith Boyer of North Branch, MN and Darrell Leehy and Bonnie Moore of Maple Grove, MN. She is the granddaughter of Gary and Judy Ginder of Longville, MN, the late Patricia Ginder of North Branch, MN and the late Muriel and William Leehy of North Branch, MN. The groom is the son of Wendy and Richard Hentges of Milbank, SD and Mark Swanson of Harris, MN. He is the grandson of Shirley and Myron Anderson of Ashland, WI and of Joan and the late Carl Swanson of St. Paul, MN.
The bride is a graduate of North Branch High School. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of St. Thomas with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and earned her Ph.D. in Biochemistry& Biophysics at Texas A&M University. Katie now works at the Masonic Cancer Center at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. The groom is a graduate of North Branch High School. He graduated from University of Wisconsin, Stout with a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering and now works at Perbix in Brooklyn Park.
Following a honeymoon in Kauai, HI, Katie and Ryan will reside in St. Paul, MN with their cat and dog.
