Congratulations to award-winning staff

Fall is now officially behind us, and North Branch Area Public Schools had a number of staff and students honored for achievements in the opening months of the 2016-17 school year.
In September, Resource Training and Solutions recognized support staff from across the state that make a difference in the lives of students. NBAPS was proud to nominate five individuals who make that difference daily! Congratulations and thank you to Vikings Joan Audette, Susan Hinschberger, Bonnie Huberty, and Nona Schoenecker!
The Leadership in Educational Excellence Awards were hosted by Resource in October. NBAPS nominated these outstanding Viking educators: Kelly Detzler, Stacy Johnstone, Karla Meemken, and Rachelle Weinand. These five educators go the extra mile each and every day. Congratulations and thank you for the care and attention you provide students.
Most recently, teachers Michelle Wille and Joel Santjer have been selected as 2016 TIES Exceptional Teacher Award winners! This award was established to recognize teachers in TIES member districts who model best practices in his/her classroom and engaging students in learning. Congratulations and thank you to Michelle and Joel!
The most important thing to know about all of these award winning employees, is that they exemplify staff here at NBAPS in general! For every employee that is honored for their service and dedication, there are dozens more that deserve the honor.
Unfortunately, there aren’t enough awards to recognize all of the employees that deserve to be highlighted for their work. From the moment students are picked up to the time they are dropped off, as well as in the hours between school days, dedicated individuals are working hard for students, families, and the community. I only wish I could recognize them all!
