NB Community Good Friday service

Four area pastors are working together to plan a Good Friday (April 14) service this year in North Branch at 7 p.m. for the community to attend. The service will be held at the North Branch Area High School auditorium, door No. 16, 38175 Grand Ave.
There will also be a welcome time starting at 6:30, with juice and coffee available.
The pastors, from NorthBrook Church, Kost Evangelical Free Church, Harris Covenant Church and Bridge of Grace Church, have been collaborating since early February to discuss the details. Members of their staff have also met to complete some of the tasks.
Harris, Kost and NorthBrook pastors have met together for the past 2 years on Good Friday, to great success. This year, Bridge of Grace is also is part of the planning.
Musicians from each of the churches will provide the worship music, while each pastor will have a role during the service such as sharing a message or leading communion.
“I was very moved by the service (last year),” Michelle Johnson, NorthBrook, said. Worshiping and sharing communion with my brothers-and-sisters-in Christ from the other congregations added so much depth to the experience. I’m looking forward to this year’s.”
