The community connects in North Branch

Annual expo well attended

The crowds were out for the annual North Branch Area Chamber of Commerce Community Connections Expo at North Branch Area High School April 1. This year, the expo had a new component: a job fair. Around 100 businesses and organizations from the community were at the expo.

Rick Olseen and Merrile Johnson from Let’s Go Fishing displayed photos from past fishing trips for senior citizens, veterans and people with disabilities. Kaymen Smith, Karie and Rodney Ebnet from TLG Outdoor Services located in Stacy. Colorful Beginnings, owned and operated by Stephen and Liz Lelm, displayed samples of their custom cabinetry amd remodeling ideas. Chris Ruddy displaying some items for rent from Ruddy Rentals. Janey Shaddrick, from Rogues and Rascals, a dog training and pet sitting service, holding a Schipperke puppy named Pip.
