NBAPS referendum public meeting is April 24

North Branch Area Public Schools will host a public meeting to present information and receive questions about its “Maintain, Improve, Invest” referendum proposal up for election on May 23.
Construction, finance, and design experts will be on hand, along with school district staff, to provide information.
The public meeting is Monday, April 24, at 5:30 p.m. in room 126 of the North Branch Area Education Center.
“Maintain, Improve, Invest” is a three-question proposal. Question 1 would provide funds to maintain North Branch schools with safety and security improvements, deferred maintenance and updates to classrooms and other district facilities.
Question 2 would provide funds to improve athletic spaces with a gym addition to the high school and updates to both the middle school and high school gyms. Note: Question 2 is contingent on question 1; question 2 can only pass if voters approve question 1.
Question 3 would provide funds to invest in classroom technology to support student learning in a rapidly changing world.
