May 1: 6100 block of Cougar Trail, criminal damage to property (not in progress); vehicle was vandalized and damaged. (6:05 a.m.)
39600 block of Cherokee Ave., suspicious activity; a vehicle had been gone through.(1:24 p.m.)
May 2: 4300 block of 379th St., a dog bite was reported. (12:30p.m.)
May 3: On Maple Street a domestic-physical (in progress) was reported. (9:20 a.m.)
May 4: On MN-95/Hornsby Dr., there was a fire call. (9:09p.m.)
May 5: 5800 block of St. Croix Trail, a suspicious vehicle was reported at the Holiday Gas Station. (12:30 a.m.)
6300 block of Elm St., theft from a vehicle was reported at the Wholesome Health Club. (4:14 p.m.)
May 5: 6100 block on Main St., theft of gas was reported at Casey’s General Store. (6:17 p.m.)
May 7: 6300 block of 377th St., harassment-a neighbor dispute was reported. (12:52 p.m.)
May 1: 31000 block of Forest Blvd., Stacy, disturbance (in progress). A deputy responded to a disturbance at the Rustic Inn. Prior to arrival, he was advised that a female party involved had left the scene. He spoke with the male party involved and he said he believed his vehicle was being vandalized by the woman involved after being told by the bartender to leave. The victim stated that as the woman attempted to leave in her vehicle, he tried to take a picture of her license plate. She then accelerated quickly into reverse, striking the victim with her car she was driving. This was all caught on video by the victim. The deputy and another officer made contact with the woman and the other female party at the tire store just east of Kwik Trip. She was advised she was under arrest for second degree assault. While taking her into custody, she assaulted the officer by stomping on his foot when trying to place her into handcuffs. She was transported to the Chisago County Jail and charged with two counts of assault, both second degree and fourth degree assault on a police officer. (6:17 p.m.)
May 3: 29500 block of Glader Blvd., Lindstrom, burglary-residential (not in progress). A deputy spoke with complainant on the phone who advised that a neighbor to his cabin called him to report that the rear door had been kicked in. Complainant stated he was last here at the end of August 2016, and won’t be back until about June or July of this year. He further stated that there was only building materials inside, as he is remodeling the cabin. The deputy responded to the address and took photos of the damage. Complainant will be contacting a friend to try and secure the cabin and was advised to call back when he gets up here if he needs to add a stolen property report. (5:01 p.m.)
May 4: 38000 block Fir Trl., Stacy, theft (not in progress). A deputy made contact with the complainant shortly after 6 p.m. via phone. He then met him at the mentioned address, which is the ball fields behind Sunrise Estates. Complainant advised that he keeps a faded yellow metal storage box at the ball field with bases and stakes. He stated that the box was secured to a fence post with a cable and lock. He advised that the night before he came to the field, and found the box to be missing. Another person had spoken to a unknown male that apparently witnessed a silver car and a truck load the box up on Monday morning at 4 a.m. An unknown witness was not able to get any further vehicle info. The deputy completed a property report for the box, and the items that were inside. (10:40 a.m.)
May 4: 12700 block of 375th St, Sunrise Township, fire call. A deputy checked in on a large brush fire at the above listed address. Due to previous complaints at this address of unattended fires and illegal material burning, he checked in on the fire that was being attended by the new homeowner. The owner advised he had a permit, offered to show it to him, and advised that he was burning scrap wood from the pole barn. The owner’s information was attached to this call, and he advised that he will be staying at the home, which is being remodeled at this time, for the evening, and will be working on the property for the weekend. (8:14 p.m.)
May 6: 280th Street and Olympic Trl., Lindstrom, crash-personal injury. A deputy responded at the intersection of 280th Street and Olympic Trail regarding a reported single motorcycle crash involving personal injuries. He arrived on scene, and noted the attached driver, was semi-alert and conscious. First responders from the Lindstrom Fire Department and Paramedics from Lakes Region EMS arrived on scene and tended the driver. He was transported via ambulance to Fairview Lakes Emergency Room regarding non-life-threatening injuries sustained from the crash. Peterson’s Towing service was summoned to the scene and towed away the motorcycle. A search warrant was drafted to obtain a blood sample from the driver as there was probable cause to believe that the driver was driving while under the influence of alcohol.
The search warrant was reviewed and signed by a judge. A Medical Laboratory Technician assisted with drawing a blood sample from the driver and he was ultimately arrested for third-degree DWI and carrying a pistol while intoxicated. The deputy transported the driver to the Chisago County Jail. The blood sample will be submitted to the MN BCA forensic laboratory for analysis. (7:49 p.m.)

May 2: Robert James Canfield, 28, North Branch, 2nd degree DWI, traffic driver’s license-driving after revocation, disorderly conduct.
Nels Rainer Hoilan, 55, Lindstrom, theft-identity theft, possess pornographic work-computer disk/electronics/magnetic/optical image.
May 3: Shayde Kristopher Schwabe, 20, North Branch, possess amphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, liquor possession by person under 21, traffic regulation-unauthorized use of parking certificate for physically disabled.
May 6: James Conrad Armstrong, 24, North Branch, gross misdemeanor 2nd degree DWI, refuse to submit to chemical test, alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours.
Trevor Michael Johnson, 27, Shafer, misdemeanors of careless driving and possession of drug paraphernalia, drugs-possess small amounts of marijuana, FE-probation violation.
May 7: Nicholas John Simon, 30, Scandia, traffic DWI 3rd degree-one aggravating factor, weapons-carrying a pistol under the influence of alcohol.
