 Tires are a business Jeff Selvog knows well. For the last four years Selvog has operated a mobile tire service
company out of Pine City until recently when decided it was time to
expand. On Feb. 1 Selvog opened A1 Tire Service, Inc. in Stacy off the Interstate 35 exit.

 Second Hand Treasures is North Branch's newest business to grace the downtown streets.
The
thrift store opened Jan. 8 in the old library building and is looking
to serve a need in the community by collecting people's unwanted items
and then selling them to the public.
The store is co-owned by
Lisa Cotter, a 1990 North Branch High School graduate, and Jamie Hovey,
a mother of three who resides in Lindstrom.

Hooray for baseball! In less than two months, the Minnesota Twins will
be playing baseball in the Metrodome. The Twins’ home opener is Monday,
March 31 against the Los Angeles Angels. It is the first of a four-game
series that spills into April.
