Kudos to Community Ed
If residents of North Branch Area School District can’t find something educational, entertaining and worthwhile to do this spring, summer, and early fall, they missed something.  That something is the NB Community Education Activity Guide recently sent to all postal patrons.

Response to last week’s letter
Last week a letter was written in this paper attempting to confuse the public about the true cost of the transportation bill on Minnesota’s families.  Repeating information that State Sen. Olseen has constantly and stubbornly used, the letter writer said that he and his wife would need to pay just $71 towards the cost of this $6.6 billion transportation bill.

YSB is so thankful

NBEA: Keep cuts out of classroom
We, the North Branch Education Association (NBEA, the teachers’ union) believe that it is a privilege to teach the children in the North Branch Area Public Schools. Our kids are bright, creative and eager to learn.

Message to Rep. Eastlund
I have contacted Rep. Eastlund on at least 3 occasions and not once has he taken time to respond.  Sure he takes the time to write articles for the paper to “plead” his case and advise us on what he is doing.
