Taxpayers had a ring-side seat last week for the DFL majority’s passage
of a massive tax increase for transportation. The cost of the seat,
though, was enough to make even the greediest scalper blush: $6.6

Not many of us completed our high school years without doing something
we later wished we hadn’t done. And the fact that we knew there were

As I predicted in my article of a week ago, Feb. 23 was a busy day in

the plans are fulfilled, it will be a living demonstration of the
world’s finest ideas in ecology, education and economic development.

Irish Wolfhound names Belker. The dog’s owners, Ron and his wife Lisa.

Saturday night Grandpa and I got a jolt of babysitting reality. It’s
been a long time since we had complete responsibility for two little

It’s been a long time since we changed his diapers or fed him from a
small baby spoon.
