Gymnastics take down NB, St. Anthony |

On Feb. 1, the Rush City/Pine City / Hinckley-Finlayson gymnastic co-op defeated North Branch 130.65-125.1.
Head coach Dianne Meier said the beam was not the best. In the team’s last meet vs. St. Anthony they earned a 35.1 with only one fall. Against the Vikings, they plummeted on the bar to 31.625 with six falls.

Anoka
The girls kept running at full-throttle as they toppled Anoka by two points, 130.0 to 128.125.
On the floor, Krista Graff set a new school record with 8.75, good enough for third place.
Again, the girls faced trouble on the balance beam, with five falls and many missed connections.
“The varsity squad has been working hard to beef up their floor routines,” Meier said.
Up next. the girls host Grantsburg Feb. 7 and then continue on to sections Feb. 16 at Big Lake.
