The North Branch gymnastics team was defeated by Rush City/Pine City/Hinckley-Finlayson by a score of 125.1 to 130.65.

Kassie Salo took third place in all-around with a 33.

Head coach Holly Saunders was pleased her team was able to stay on the beam.

“We had no falls on the beam for varsity, which was a goal of ours,” she said.

Fridley

On Jan. 26, the Fridley Tigers nudged the Vikings off  the winning podium by a sliver, 91.325-91.925.

Salo took first place in the all-around with a first place on the beam and floor and third on the vault. (The girls competed in just three events, because the bars broke.)

The team competed without captain Shayna Bauer who was out with a knee injury.
