When the dust settled, the girls basketball team lost by four, 56-52.

In the overtime session, the Tigers scored just one point, compared to four by Isle, which proved to be the difference maker.

The Tigers (2-13, 1-10) were led by Brittany Scheffer who finished with 17 points, seven rebounds and two assist, while Jenna Scheffer added a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

First year head coach Mark Henrich said it was tough loss to swallow.

“We had our chances to put the game away during regulation, but could not capitalize on them,” he said. “Overall we are getting better as a team even though it is not showing up in the won/loss record. I am very proud of how the team never gives up no matter what the score is. They fight from tip till the final buzzer.”
