New leadership in NB fire department |

 The North Branch City Council approved the selection of fire department officers at the meeting Monday night.
New
fire chief John McFarling, front center, shook hands with outgoing
chief Don Brown who served on the department since the late 70s and was
chief since the early 80s.
Brown is in the yellow jacket.
The
other officers are (l to r) Don Simons, training officer; Brad Hult,
2nd assistant chief; Ryan Coleman, secretary/treasure; Kevin Grote, 1st
assistant chief; Matt Koolmo, chief engineer; Rick Miller, assistant
engineer; Kirby Ekstrom, safety officer.
