 Tires are a business Jeff Selvog knows well.
For the last four years, Selvog has operated a mobile tire service
company out of Pine City until recently when decided it was time to
expand.
On Feb. 1, Selvog opened A1 Tire Service, Inc. in Stacy off the Interstate 35 exit.
Sitting in his new office, Selvog talked about his new business venture with a smile.

“We pretty much take care of everyone’s tire needs,” he explained. “We are known for exceptional service.”
Selvog said his company is able to operate a 24-hour mobile tire
service on wheels allowing them to fix most tire problems on-site.
He said they will travel up to 75 miles in any direction to serve their customers.
“Typically, within an hour of a call, we can be there and get you hooked up and ready to go,” Selvog said.
A1 Tire Service, Inc. operates its mobile tire service 24-hours a day all year long.
When the three-man crew isn’t on the road fixing tire problems, they operate out of their Stacy shop.
Concerning pricing, Selvog said they are “competitive.”
In addition to tire service, A1 Tire Service, Inc. also sells new and used tires along with recaps.
Helping Selvog in the shop are two tire technicians, Ben Anderson and
Jamie Siems, along with front office helpers Jolene Selvog and Annette
Olson.
A1 Tire Service is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
