Amy Marie Flohr, age 28 of Sunrise formerly of Wyoming died on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.

Amy was born on May 23, 1979 in St. Paul, Minnesota to James and Pamela (Hahn) Harvey. She grew up and attended Forest Lake High School graduating in 1978. After high school she attended Regis Beauty School and soon after took a job at Cost Cutters in Forest Lake where she was still working. She was married to Jason L. Flohrs on April 15, 2000 in Forest Lake by Pastor Mike Haseltine.

She loved and owned her own horse and loved spending time riding. She loved animals of all types. She liked hunting with Jason and within the last year was able to hunt wild turkey, black bear and deer. Amy and Jason were members of the Minnesota Street Rod Assoc. and they each owned street rods and enjoyed going to car shows and Back to the 50’s.

She is survived by her husband, Jason; parents, James and Pamela (Hahn) Harvey of Wyoming. Sister, Kelly (Andrew) Leroux of Browerville; Paternal grandparents Donald and Lois Harvey of White Bear Lake; Maternal grandfather, James Hahn of Forest Lake and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Marlene.

Funeral services was 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 at Maranatha Church in Forest Lake with Pastor Mike Haseltine and Pastor Ken Harste officiating. Visitation was from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22 at Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch and one hour prior to service at church on Saturday. Interment will be at Sunrise Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch.
