The season ended abruptly for the Rush City/Pine City boys hockey team.
On Feb. 19, the Dragons fell to Duluth Denfeld 11-1.
The Hunters took advantage of every mistake the Dragons made, head coach Tim Schlichting said.
The Dragons managed just three shots on net for the entire game.
“Everyone fought hard to the end, and the dragons finished the season as a team with class,” Schlichting said.
